Community Service

We are proud to support our local communities and a range of charitable initiatives. In the past, we have made donations to building and disaster relief projects, food pantry construction, community walking paths, local artists and arts grants recipients, and much more. We're grateful to do our part to keep our community vibrant and well.

We're grateful to do our part to keep our community vibrant and well. Here are a few of the projects we've supported in the past:

Tools for Tomorrow

GNH Lumber would like to congratulate the 2022 Tool for Tomorrow Award winners!

Marissa Wilber (Greenville), Mackenzie DuHart (Cairo-Durham) and Jason Hammel (Windham Ashland Jewett) - They have outstanding academic records, and have displayed vocational skill, and leadership abilities. It is our pleasure to honor these students who have worked hard to prepare themselves for a bright future – we wish them the very best for a bright future!

West Kill Lexington Community Hall Project

Over the past three years, the West Kill Lexington Community Hall has been making continued improvements to their building and facilities. This important and historically significant meeting place has served the community for over 70 years, and we were so excited to donate the materials they needed!

Unbridled Sanctuary Stall Project

In April 2021, GNH was proud to contribute building materials for this new stall at the Unbridled Thoroughbred Foundation to help give these beautiful horses a second chance. Since its construction, they tell us the stall has been a focal point of activities at Unbridled. Its occupant, Liam Let's Go aka "Liam" is a bit of a celebrity at the Sanctuary since he's the only boy horse among 18 mares. We're so glad to be a part of Liam's happy ending. Keep up this great and important work Unbridled!
