Job Title Truck Driver
Basic Function Delivers materials to job site, inspects and maintain truck, and assists in loading and storing of materials.
Responsibilities
  • Checks orders for accuracy.
  • Organizes and secures load.
  • Obtains approval on all loads from dispatcher for proper count and conditions of load.
  • Assists in maintaining good house keeping in yard and warehouse.
  • Assists forklift operators when loading.
  • Accounts for all company funds, such as C.O.D.'s. and toll monies.
  • Delivers and unloads materials to customer's satisfaction.
  • Follows guidelines from Dispatcher.
  • Completes daily equipment inspection. Morning pre-trip inspection is mandatory and all defects need to be communicated to yard foreman.
  • Records all merchandise that is returned by truck.
  • Completes necessary paperwork such as delivery tickets and credit slips.
  • Waits on customers while truck is being loaded.
  • Check customer loads and ensure ticketed merchandise matches loaded merchandise.
  • Assists in unloading material returned for credit.
  • Relays messages sent by customers while on job to salesman as needed.
  • Assists supervisor, other employees and other work areas, as needed.
Education High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
  • Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms.
  • Communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques.
Physical Demands
  • Strength (lift, carry, push and pull): Maximum lift 100 lbs.; Frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach with manual dexterity and see acute depth perception and field of vision.
  • Trunk rotation with 20 lbs. at arms length 180 degrees from side to side.
  • Bend, stoop or squat to floor level on a repetitive basis.
  • Reach overhead to grasp materials.
Environment and Physical Working Conditions
  • Work outside in temperatures ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold.
  • Work with mechanical equipment on daily basis.
License or Certification
  • Valid CDL driver's license with air brake endorsement required.
  • Clean MVR.
  • Insurability for driving.

Job Title Kitchen & Bath Designer
Location Latham NY
Availability Immediate
Job Description Our expanding showroom team is looking for an experienced kitchen and bath designer. Job responsibilities include client meetings, job site measuring, showroom sales, material selections and detailed designs and drawings for renovations. As an integral part of the Showroom, you would also be expected to meet with clients to assist and organize all product selections for their renovation project. These selections may include a broad range of materials from cabinetry, plumbing, ceramic tile, and interior door hardware.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience.
  • Basic knowledge of residential remodeling or interior design required.
  • Experience working on kitchen and bath remodeling projects is desired.
  • CAD or 20/20 design experience preferred.
  • Bachelors or Associates degree a plus.
  • Computer savvy with MS Word and Outlook experience.
  • Polished appearance with excellent people skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently within a team environment.
  • Confident, self-motivated, and achievement oriented.
  • Insatiable desire to succeed!
